Charles B. Deaver, 77, of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital. On Friday, July 26, 2019, at 4:00 pm there will be a time of remembrance, with Military honors at The Barn in Big Horn (nest to the Post Office) for Chuck. A light supper for friends and family will follow. We invite all friends of Chuck and Jan to join us to celebrate Chuck's life.

On Sunday, July 7, 2019, Steve Roe passed away at Sheridan Memorial Hospital at the age of 70. Steve was born in Buffalo, Wyoming to Ralph and Marvel (Barnes)Roe on March 25, 1949. He attended Klondike grade school and Buffalo High School and graduated from Sheridan High School with the class of 1966.

Ken “Buddy” Hawkins, 76, passed away on May 12, 2019 at the Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz, California. Buddy was born on May 2, 1943 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Kenneth and Doris (Holten) Hawkins. When he was two years old the family moved from Nebraska to a ranch on Lower Prairie Dog in Sheridan.

Funeral Services for Alta June Pool, 96, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at the First Congregational Church/UCC in Sheridan with Dr. Sheila Naismith and the Rev. Bob Miller officiating.

William (Bill) Thomas Conrad passed away on July 6, 2019, after a two-year struggle with acute myeloid leukemia. Bill was born in Colora, MD on July 19, 1936, to William A. and Bertha Conrad. He was raised in a Maryland farming community and made many car trips across the country throughout his lifetime to visit family.

Abel “Poncho” Vigil, 89, of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019, at Sheridan Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 5, 1930, in Wagon Mound, New Mexico to parents Santiago and Epifania (Thomas) Vigil. He attended school in Wagon Mound and later came to Wyoming with a load of steers for the Tschirgi Antler Ranch in Wyola, MT. He married Josephine Guerrero on December 5, 1953.

Betty Jo Ann French McKenzie, 91, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at the Westview Health Care Center.

Douglas “Doug” Wayne Peoples, 75, a longtime resident of Cheyenne, passed away July 2nd, at RiverStone Hospice Home in Billings, Montana. Doug was born May 3, 1944 in Denver, Colorado, a son of Aubrey and Allawilda (Miller) Peoples.
