Earl “Tom” Martin passed away Friday morning November 8, 2019 at The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center in Gillette, Wyoming. The family would like to invite you to join them for a Celebration of Tom’s life on Sunday, November 24th at The Barn in Big Horn, 228 Johnson Street, Big Horn, Wyoming from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial for Madeline Harriet, 95 year old lifetime Buffalo resident who passed away quietly Monday morning at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, will celebrated Saturday November 30th at 10:00 a.m. from the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Buffalo with Father Pete Johnson officiating. A Vigil Service will be held and the Rosary recited on Friday at 4:00 p.m.

Ida Hollinger, 90, of Ranchester, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019, at her residence.

Thomas Floyd Legocki was born May 3, 1944, to Joe E. and Doris (Workman) Legocki in Sheridan, Wyoming. He attended Woodland Park School and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1962. After a time at Sheridan College. he moved to Casper for a few years, Laramie for a semester at the University of Wyoming and then to Reno where he began and ended his teaching career.

Lola B. Pust, 96, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at Green House Living for Sheridan.

George (Pidge) Johnson passed away on November 18, 2019. He was born in Sheridan to John Jay and Rose Marguerite Johnson. His paternal grandfather, John Johnson, was an early Sheridan pioneer and stonemason whose skills are visible in many downtown buildings including the Courthouse, Elks Lodge, and Perkins Building.

Henry E. Sickler Jr., born July 29th, 1948 to Henry and Patricia (McKelvey) Sickler in Sheridan Wyoming, passed peacefully Novemer 15th, 2019 at Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions in Casper Wyoming.

Henry attended school in Sheridan, graduating from SHS in 1968. He married Mary Barnhart on July 1st, 1968 in Sheridan.

Barbara DeFries received her angel wings on November 14, 2019. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends at her home in Sheridan, Wy. Visitation will be 5-7pm Thursday, Nov. 21st at Kane Funeral Home. Barbara’s funeral Mass will be Friday, Nov. 22nd at 10:30am at Holy Name Church with Father Glenn Whewell and Father Clark Lenz as Celebrants.

Kirby L. Troutt, 61, died Monday, November 18, 2019, at Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Mary was born in Rochester, MN to Boyd and Hallie Kline in August of 1920. She shared life with two brothers, Boyd, Jr., and Timothy. The family later moved to Medford, Or. where she met and married the love of her life, John E. Prentice. They had twin girls, Leila and Leah then moved the family to Bend, Or.

Janet Lee Davis, 67, of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at her residence.
Services will be held in the Spring.

Betty Reichert was born May 13, 1932, in Dayton, Wyoming to Opal Y. Ratcliff and Paris W. Ratcliff. Betty Spent the vast majority of her life in Dayton, Wyoming with brief stints in Alaska in the 1960s to support her husband’s work. She was one of seven children in her family. At age twelve, she was the youngest member of the all-female volunteer fire department in Dayton during World War II.
