Richard “RP” Hlousek, 74, of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at the St. Vincent Hospital in Billings.

Margo Ann (Baker) Johnson, 71, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at her residence. Margo was born on September 23, 1945 to Wayne E. and Lois Blanche Baker Rogers in Sheridan, WY.

Lois L Morton, 88, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in Sheridan, Wyoming.

She was born October 14, 1928, in Crab Orchard, Nebraska to Logan and Laura (Ervin) Powell. She graduated from high school in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

On August 17, 1946, she married Gaylord V. Morton in Torrington, Wyoming. They subsequently had two sons.

Harold Allen Smith passed away peacefully at Sheridan Memorial Hospital on May 20, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was born May 27, 1930 in Gorham, North Dakota to Everett Alton and Thora (Stigen) Smith. Harold was only 18 months old when his father died, so he was raised by his mother, siblings, and a farmhand named Slim.

William “Paul” Walsh, 41, of Sheridan WY, passed away at his home on May 21, 2017.
Paul was born on May 26, 1975 in Casper, WY to Con and Melody Sue (Lucas) Walsh.

Elvin Simmons, Jr., 79, of Buffalo, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Wilberta (Bert) Oatts passed away Friday, May 19th in Denver, CO. Born in Sheridan, WY on September 15, 1929, to Etta Bassett Wehr and Wilbert Wehr, she attended Sheridan schools and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1947. Following graduation, she worked for the Sheridan Welfare Office for a few years and then married J. Philip Oatts in Sheridan on August 4, 1950.

Charmaine Roberta Johnson, age 72, of Sheridan, Wyoming passed away Saturday, May 20th, 2017 at the Sheridan County Memorial Hospital in Sheridan Wyoming surrounded by her family.
Charmaine was born in Broadus, Mt on July 4th, 1944, daughter of Robert Oral and Mildred (Laurie) Washington.

John “Jack” Pergakis,85, of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at his residence.

James “Jim” Eugene Barker was born August 18, 1948, in Sheridan to George and Ruth (White) Barker. He spent a great deal of his childhood playing with his sister and cousins at their grandparent’s ranch in Parkman. He graduated from Sheridan High School in 1966 and loved attending his 50th class reunion. In high school, he was a member of the Antelope Butte ski patrol.

Harold “Hal” Quist
Harold “Hal” Quist was a quiet man. His demeanor disguised a kind, gentle soul and a delightful sense of humor. True to his nature, he quietly passed away on May 18th at the age of 95.

Harold Waford Lemons died peacefully at his home on May 18, 2017, after a short illness. Waford Lemons was born in Montage County, Nacona, Texas on November 18, 1930. His parents were Lewis and Eunice (Russell) Lemons. He had two brothers Lewis Ray and Larry Wayne Lemons.

Funeral Services for Mario Pina Jr., 33 year old former Buffalo, Gillette and Casper resident, who passed away Monday in Wilmington, North Carolina, will be held Tuesday, May 23rd at 2:00 p.m. from the Harness Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Pastor Paul Brow officiating. Visitation will be held from the funeral home chapel on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m.

Thomas David Stroup,68, of Sheridan, passed away in his home May 16, 2017. He was born on July 12, 1948, in Sheridan, WY, to parents Chester and Betty (Michels) Stroup.

Wesley Kopman, 84, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017, in Billings, MT.

A Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017, at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
