Funeral services for Charles D. Hepp, 65 year old Buffalo man who died Tuesday at his ranch home East of Buffalo, will be held Saturday, January 29th at 10:00 a.m. from the Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo. Visitation will be held at the funeral home chapel on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Willow Grove Cemetery with graveside services to follow the funeral. Donations may be made in Chucks’ memory to the Charles D. Hepp Memorial FFA Scholarship in care of the Adams Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo.

Charles Dennis Hepp was born February 22, 1945 in Buffalo, Wyoming to Fred and Ida Bell Hepp. He grew up and attended school in Buffalo, Wyoming, graduating from Johnson County High School in 1963. After high school Chuck worked on the family ranch for 46 years and owned and operated his own construction company where he was a top dozer hand. Charles was married on January 30, 1968 to Katherine Curutchet. The couple had five children, and continued to run the ranch until the time of his death.

Chuck was past member of the Young Farmers and Ranchers, and was one of the founding board members of the Johnson County Weed and Pest. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved attending the grandkids football games and watching them at county fair. He had a passion for riding and working cows with his family.

He is survived by his wife Katherine Hepp of Buffalo; three daughters: Mary Klaahsen and her husband Craig of Buffalo, Cheri Hepp of Buffalo, and Katie Hepp of Buffalo; one son Randy Hepp and his wife Kristen of Buffalo, one brother Fred Hepp of Buffalo, two sisters: Elizabeth Mills of Sheridan, Wyoming, and Harriet Wittmer of Billings, Montana; six grandchildren: Jac, Will, Kelsi, Shad, McKinly, and Colton. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Dennis Hepp, and his parents.
