Brett Samuel Collins, 20, of Ranchester passed away on Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Brett was born in Sheridan, WY on November 15, 1991 to parents Charley Collins and Vynetta Olson. He attended school in Tongue River graduating from

Tongue River High in 2010. After graduating he attended college at Sheridan College until the time of his death.

Brett was an All Conference Linebacker for the Tongue River Eagles football team in high school. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, kyaking, golf, movies and his play station. He liked to work, to eat, had a heart of gold and he would do anything for anyone. He would smile until his face turned red and his laugh was contagious. Spending time with his girlfriend Kimberley Caywood, family and friends were some of his favorite past times.

Brett was preceded in death by several of his Grandparents, and good friend Kameron Reichert. He is survived by his parents, Charley and Kimberly Collins of Ranchester, WY, and Vynetta and Thad Olson of Fergus Falls, MN., his grandparents; Mary Jane Collins of Sheridan, WY and Bruce Collins of Dayton, WY, and Kaletta Rollins of Sheridan, WY, and Lola Davidson of Boardman, OR, his siblings; Tristen (Ryan) Pedersen of Gillette, WY, Coen Cunningham and Rydge Collins both of Ranchester, WY, Michael Ervin, Piper Olson, Tejah Olson and Caden Olson all of Fergus Falls, MN. Also niece and nephew; Kaydon and Kaylin Pedersen of Gillette, WY and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 24, 2012 at Kane Funeral Home. Services for Brett will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at the Tongue River High School with John Krezelok officiating. A reception will follow the service.
