Funeral services for Chuck Buell, 70 year old lifetime Buffalo resident who passed away Friday at the Memorial Hospital in Sheridan, surrounded by his family, will be held Friday October 19th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bomber Mountain Civic Center in Buffalo with Jed Fitch officiating. Visitation will be held at the Harness Funeral Home in Buffalo on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Albert Raymond Copp, Jr., 67, of Sheridan, passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 at the Billings Clinic. At his request, no services will be held. Online condolences may be written at www.championfh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Champion Funeral Home.

Joseph “Joe” Boyd Baker V, a multi-faceted individual, had many talents – an artist, gardener, outdoorsman, teacher, and railroader. He was especially proficient at being a trickster. And those who knew and loved him well stated he was a master at that skill because of his adept sense of humor.

Kent “Sandy” Ward, 71, of Buffalo, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at his residence.
Services are pending and will be held at a later date. Donations to honor Sandy may be made to the Johnson County Hospital General Donation Account.

John J. Sykes, 76, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in Dayton, WY. He was born on September 21, 1941 in Detroit, MI to Edward W. and Antonina (Visnorovitz) Sykes. He was raised in New England by his mother and grandmother. At 17 he joined the U.S. Air Force where he was educated to become a meteorologist. In 1979 he retired after 20 years of service.

Barbara A. Tapp, 93, of Sheridan, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018, at the Westview Health Care Center.

Daniel Edwards Adsit, 66, of Sheridan went to his heavenly home on October 6, 2018, after a brief battle with kidney cancer. He was born on January 1, 1952, being the New Year's baby for Sheridan in that year. He was the third child born to the late Harold Ira Adsit and Mary Josephine Wall.

Eli "Tiny" Toma, 84, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 surrounded by family. He was born in Townsend, MT on Dec. 6, 1933 to Eli and Marion Toma. He was raised on a ranch in Radersburg, MT.

On Saturday afternoon, Mary’s wish to go home was answered when her late husband Vern came to take her to be with him. Mary Adamson, 96, passed away on October 6, 2018 in the Rock Creek Center at Sheridan Manor in Sheridan, Wyoming. Mary, the sixth of twelve children, was born on August 27, 1922 in Dayton, Wyoming to John Paul and Suzanna (Legerski) Jolovich.

Funeral services for Alvina Curutchet 95 year old Buffalo woman who passed away Tuesday morning at the Johnson County Health Care Center in Buffalo, will be held Tuesday, October 9th at 10:00 a.m. at the Harness Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Father Carl Beavers officiating. Interment will be in Willow Grove Cemetery with graveside services to follow the funeral.

Mary Ruth Adamson, 96, of Dayton, WY, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Sheridan Manor in Sheridan, WY.

Ellen Theresa Madden, 88, of Sheridan, Wyoming passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 at Sheridan Manor. She was born December 6, 1929 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the oldest of 5 children, to Raymond Henry and Lois Rose (Kingston) Dindinger.

Roma Jean Apel (Weaver) was born to Cal and Opal Weaver on December 4, 1933 in Casper, Wyoming. She graduated from Natrona County High School in 1951. In July of 1952, she married Howard Leon Apel at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Casper, Wyoming. Together, they raised three children: Roxanne Apel (Araas), Ron Eugene Apel and Jerrold Fredrick Apel.
