Ron RichterU.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-WY) recently spoke on the Senate floor about how President Biden’s policies on American energy are funding Putin’s aggression and hurting Americans and the rest of the world. Barrasso began his speech by talking about the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Barrasso said Vladimir Putin has become emboldened like never before.
Barrasso said he sent a letter with Senator Lummis and every Republican on the Energy Committee to President Biden. He said the letter details ten specific actions the President can take right now to produce more American energy and undermine Vladimir Putin and help our NATO allies and help the people of Ukraine. Barrasso closed his speech by saying that we as a nation are much better off selling American energy to our friends than having to buy it from our enemies, and more American energy means more American strength and more American security.

Can’t trust what you say Dr. You’ve said nothing about the GOP sanctioned attempt to overthrow the legitimate presidential election and ransacking of the US Capitol. I think you fail as a US Senator who vowed to protect the country and constitution from foreign or domestic enemies. You and the GOP are political opportunists, seeming to be intent on a one party state system (like Russia, China, Iran, No Korea). And I’m supposed to trust you?? Don’t think so. Being born and raised in Wyoming, I remember when the state GOP was a party of integrity and honor . . . gone now, more like a brown shirt gang who insists on mindless conformity to gain and hold power.

Exactly Dennis, my thoughts exactly!!!!! The only thing I would add is, I am so surprised how many good Wyoming folks are so completely fooled by this cry baby trump. I know Barrasso is not really, fooled by trump but he has sold his soul{and country} for the votes of those who are…

The US is buying ruskie oil, Denny, and team Biden has stated many times that we must eliminate fossil fuels. What do you think build back better is all about? Oil prices started to go up after Biden cancelled the keystones XL. So keep cursing Trump while you fund the ruskie war machine at the gas station!

ROFLMAO..when you cant defend a Biden policy or action default to Jan 6. You should apply to CNN. DEMS are so desperate to defend China Joe they say the most ridiculous thing, this being one of them. Americans are hurting, ukraine is hurting because of an incompetent US president. You should be ashamed…. sadly pathetic

He has no problem, apparently, buying tanker-loads of oil from that bastion of human rights Saudi Arabia.

Yes, we should call on Biden to remove his sanctions against existing US oil leases, and become energy Independent again.

Barrasso really searches hard to criticize Biden and the Democrats. Yet his party is in shambles. The party filled with a cult that seems infatuated with an autocratic former President. Mr. Barrasso, I believe your time could be better spent trying to make your party respectable again.
