2-A State and 4-A Regional Basketball Tournaments Open Thursday / Cowboys Lose at Home Against SDSU

2-A STATE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT – The Big Horn Rams and both Tongue River teams will open the 2-A state basketball tournament Thursday in Casper

The Lady Eagles open with Wyoming Indian in the first game of the tournament at 9 am.

The Rams open at noon with Rocky Mountain and the Eagles will play the late game Thursday night at 9:00 against Big Piney.

4-A EAST REGIONAL BASKETBALL – The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams open the 4-A east regional tournament in Cheyenne Thursday afternoon the Broncs lead off at 1:30 against Kelly Walsh the Lady Broncs follow at 3:00 against Central we will have both games live on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

COWBOY BASKETBALL – The Wyoming Cowboys lost at home to San Diego state Monday night 73-66, Head coach Jeff Linder.

They have two games to play before the Mountain West tournament starts next week they play at UNLV tomorrow night and Linder says they have to be a whole lot better tomorrow.

You can hear the game live on KWYO and 106.9 FM pregame at 8:00 tip off at 8:30.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL – The Cowgirls play their regular season finale at home tomorrow against Colorado state.

INDOOR TRACK – The Sheridan high school track teams end their indoor season this weekend at the state championships the meet opens Friday.

SPRING HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS SEASON – The spring sports season starts Monday with opening practice for soccer and outdoor track and field.
