Re-alignment of Klondike Road Moves Forward

The Johnson County Commission approved two resolutions at their meeting Tuesday that will begin the process for a re-alignment of Klondike Road.

County Road and Bridge Supervisor Scott Pehringer explained the need for the re-alignment.

Cheryl Benner, with Road and Bridge, said the resolutions would initiate the process for the re-alignment, which will be advertised until April 21^st, giving the public an opportunity to comment on the realignment and abandonment of the old surveys.

The commission is expected to address the issue again at their meeting on April 21^st to officially abandon the old surveys.
