Yellowstone National Park has received a grant from a national foundation. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the story.

Yellowstone is one of 39 national parks selected to receive a 2014 America's Best Idea grant from the National Park Foundation, which is the official charity of national parks in the country.

Park Spokesman Al Nash says that they will use the grant money to partner with Groundwork USA, a national network of non-profits that work to transform community liabilities into assets.

Nash said that 55 Green Team youth and leaders representing 15 Groundwork USA Trusts will participate in one of two week-long programs at Yellowstone this month. He added that the first group is expected to arrive and begin their project today.
