Wyoming's Debt Per Capita Ranked

According to statistics released last week by The Tax Foundation, the State of Wyoming carried a debt of $2,409 per person in 2011. Tennessee had the least amount of debt per person, $925, and Massachusets had the most, $11,309. Wyoming's debt-per-capita estimate was relatively low compared to other states, but was higher than Texas, Nevada, and Nebraska.
