JACKSON BIKING — A national biking advocacy group has ranked the town of Jackson in northwest Wyoming among the top 10 in the country for its bicycle network. At 67 points out of a possible 100, People for Bikes lists Jackson as the sixth best bicycle network in the country.

BARRASSO-AG REGULATIONS — U.S. Sen. John Barrasso has introduced legislation he says would protect ranchers, farmers, and rural communities from federal overregulation. The Wyoming Republican says the proposed act would help defend agricultural industries from punishing federal rules and duplicative permitting requirements.

EDUCATION ASSESSMENT — Wyoming schools can begin administering the state's new statewide student assessment beginning Monday. Wyoming students in grade 3-10 will be taking the first Wyoming Test of Proficiency and Progress, or WY-TOPP. The new assessment replaces the PAWS test.
