Wyoming National Guard Adjutant General to Update Communities

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - The adjutant general of the Wyoming National Guard will travel to communities across the state over the next several weeks.

Maj. Gen. Ed Wright will be updating local residents on deployments as well as current and future organizational operations. Wright plans to conclude each meeting by introducing a live Internet-based conversation with deployed commanders and locally-based soldiers. The interactive discussion will enable people to ask questions of deployed soldiers.

In addition, Wyoming Guard benefit provider representatives such as the Yellow Ribbon Program, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, and Family Readiness will be available to answer any questions.

Meetings will be held in Gillette on Oct. 13, Sheridan on Oct. 14, Casper on Oct. 15, Cody on Oct. 19, and Lander on Oct. 20.
