'Battle On The Blacktop' Wraps Today In Buffalo

The Johnson County Family YMCA's annual “Battle On The Blacktop” 3-on-3 street basketball tournament will wrap up its two-day run in Buffalo today as between 75 and 100 teams, from third-graders to adults, will crown their champions in each age division.

Today’s Day for Buffalo Flagpole Dedication

The new flagpole in front of the city hall in Buffalo, installed as part of a Boy Scout’s Eagle Scout project will be dedicated today as part of a Flag Day ceremony. The dedication will be held at 1 Sunday afternoon. The public is welcome to attend.
