Wyo Rodeo Wranglers Ready For a Big Week

The Sheridan Wyo Rodeo Wranglers have been carrying flags for months, preparing for the busy and exciting Wyo Rodeo Week. With only days left before the first performance, more than 40 local volunteers gathered at the fairgrounds on Sunday to practice the grand entry.

Jackie Lewis, a Sheridan native and Wyo Rodeo Wrangler says that the flag carriers and their horses have been hard at work for several months .

With four additional Wyo Rodeo sponsors, Liz Kincaid, the Wranglers’ assistant coach, says that organizing nearly 40 participants is hard. She adds that newcomers and veterans put in a lot of time, effort, and years .

Both Jackie and Liz say these next few days will be spent working with horses and preparing for the large crowds. The Wranglers invite you to like their facebook page, Sheridan Wyo Rodeo Wranglers.
