Wyo Kids Count Report Out Friday

Wyo Kids Count Report Out Friday

The Wyoming Kid's Count annual report that aims to illustrate the well-being of Wyoming's children with data in several categories will be released Friday.

Wyoming Children's Action Alliance President Marc J. Homer explains how, prior to the release, you can check out their website and rank the most populous fifteen counties in Wyoming.

He says the goal is to raise awareness about their work and the status of Wyoming's children. It's the first time counties have been ranked with a composite score. You can log on to http://www.kidscount.wykids.org to try to rank the counties prior to the release tomorrow. The winner will receive an Amazon Kindle.

The Wyoming Children's Action Alliance releases the Wyoming Kids Count, and is funded by the Annie E. Casey Foundation. They are based in Laramie.

Look for a story about where Sheridan ranks following the release this Friday.
