The Wyoming Wilderness Association will be hosting a free hike of an area that was heavily damaged during last year's Gilead Fire – but things are quickly changing. The educational hike is set for Sunday, July 7. Marielle DeJong with the WWA explains.

She's been to the Rock Creek Recommended Wilderness Area recently and says the landscape is much different than it was this time, last year.

If you're interested in attending Sunday's free educational hike of the Rock Creek Wilderness, which is just a few miles north of Buffalo on the face of the Big Horn Mountains, call the WWA at 672-2751. You can also send an email that you're interested to marielle@wildwyo.org.
