Wolf Status In Wyoming Remains In The Hands Of The Courts

While the first ever wolf hunting season is set to begin soon in Montana and Idaho, things are still being handled in the courtroom for Wyoming.

That's U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Wolf Recovery Project Leader for Wyoming Mike Jiminez, who said that there is a preliminary injunction hearing scheduled for Monday August 31st in Missoula Montana. Depending on what is ruled on in court, wolves could be placed back on the endangered species list in Montana and Idaho after Monday's hearing.
