The Sheridan City Council will meet for their first regularly scheduled meeting of April Monday night. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has a preview of what’s on tap.

The Council is expected to consider and approve on third and final reading the Wireless Communications Facilities ordinance. Councilman Thayer Shafer says that the City began the process last year when they hired a consultant to craft the ordinance.

Another ordinance that the Council will consider on third reading updates and revises City Code. Prior to approval of second reading of the ordinance at their last meeting in March, the Council had tabled the ordinance several times due to concerns brought forth by the Sheridan County Liquor Dealers Association. Shafer says that he expects there to be no issues on the final reading.

The meeting will take place at 7pm in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall. The meeting will be broadcast on AM 14-10 KWYO.
