WHP Releases Info On Fatal Crash Near Buffalo

The Wyoming Highway Patrol has released information on a fatal crash that occurred Saturday on Interstate 90 in Johnson County near the Piney Creek interchange.

According to the media release, Jack C. Glenn, 38 and Kelly M. Burgess,44, both of Hood River, Oregon were westbound on I-90 in a 1987 Toyota pickup pulling a 14-foot flatbed trailer with an SUV loaded on it.

The pickup and trailer were headed downhill when the trailer began to fishtail and the driver lost control of the vehicle. Resulting in the pickup/trailer combination spinning off the roadway into the median where it rolled one and one-quarter times, coming to rest on the driver's side on top of th guardrail.

Burgess and Glenn were both transported to the Johnson County Healthcare Center where Burgess died from her injuries. Glenn remains hospitalized at JCHC, according to the release.

Neither the driver nor the passenger were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
