Whitney Benefits Hosts Chamber Meeting

Whitney Benefits hosted the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Business Before Hours this month.

The event was held Wednesday morning in the Whitney Benefits offices on North Connor. Roy Garber, who's president of the Whitney board, said while the organization isn't a business, it is a Chamber member and the organization was glad to host the event.

He said as in the past, the emphasis of Whitney Benefits continues to be on education.

He said Whitney Benefits will continue its support, especially through the academic areas of Sheridan College.

Chamber CEO Dixie Johnson said Whitney Benefits is a great supporter of the community.

She said the Chamber was thrilled to be at the Whitney offices for this month's Business Before Hours.

The Chamber started Business Before Hours in February of this year, as an option for people who might not be able to attend the monthly Business After Hours program. Business Before Hours is offered on the first Wednesday of every month.
