It's time once again to take a look back at some of the stories that made the news this past week with our Sheridan Media Week in Review.

Mick Wiest, an English and language arts teacher at Fort Mackenzie High School in Sheridan was named the Wyoming's 2014 Teacher of the Year. He recalls where he was when he learned the good news.

Warren Mischke, who's worked for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department for almost four decades retired. A public open house was held at the Sheridan Game and Fish Office Friday to acknowledge his many years with the department.

Former Sheridan probation officer Chris Yager, who's up on second-degree sexual assault charges, pleaded not guilty Thursday in Fourth Judicial District Court. The felony charge carries a prison sentence of 2-20 years and a $10,000 fine. If convicted, he'd lose his right to vote and be required to register as a sex offender.

Yager's accused of having sexual relations with a client while working as a probation officer with the Wyoming Department of Correction, over a four month period, from January to May.
