Wednesday's Chamber Lunch Features Workforce Services

The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce will host their November luncheon Wednesday and will have the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services there for an informational gathering for employers.

Representatives from The Worker's Compensation and Vocational Rehabilitation Divisions will discuss new discount programs businesses can take part in to reduce premium rates for employers.
Also to be discussed is the DVR, or vocational rehabilitation program and the prospects for job placement.
Discounts on Workers’ Compensation premiums are available based on safety standards and drug-free policies among others.
The DVR program can provide employment-specific training and match the right employee to the right business.

The luncheon will begin at noon Wednesday at the Bozeman Trail Conference Center at 675 East Hart Street in Buffalo.

The program is free to attend for those not eating lunch.
