Weather Makes Things Tough On Those Traveling For The Holidays

Mother Nature was not kind on holiday travelers Wednesday as much of Wyoming was rocked by a winter storm that caused several accidents and road closures throughout the state. Wyoming Highway Patrol Sergeant Stephen Townsend says that safety should be tops on the list while traveling for the holidays.

Townsend said that if you plan on traveling for the holidays, it's also a good idea to bring a shovel, tow rope, chains and plenty of winter clothing in case you happen to run into trouble on the road.

Thank you and Merry Christmas!!

Thank you to Wyoming law enforcement for helping those who were in accidents yesterday (the 23rd). My brother and sister-in-law were among those you assisted, after the accident that totaled their vehicle and stopped their journey to MN to see family. I just want you all to know that our entire family is grateful you all were there to help! Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!!
