Weather Forces Buffalo's Pumpkin Fest Indoors

Earlier this week we ran a story on the fifth annual Pumpkin Festival which was scheduled to take place at Buffalo's Washington Park.

Due to the cold conditions expected on Saturday, officials at Northstar Energy and Construction, who are putting the festival on, have decided to move the events indoors to the Johnson County Fairgrounds' Community Building.

Pumpkin carving, games, face painting and refreshments and all the scheduled activities will still be going on, just indoors out of the cold, according to Michelle Jones, Event Coordinator for the festival.
