The United States Constitution took center stage Thursday night in the Inner Circle of the Sheridan Fulmer Library. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

We the People teams from Sheridan High School and Arvada-Clearmont High School sharpened their skills Thursday night regarding their knowledge of the history and principles of the U.S. Constitution in preparation for next month’s state qualifier competition. Sheridan High School Social Studies Teacher Tyson Emborg said that the “dress rehearsal” was a good way for the students to get their feet wet before the state qualifier.

All three teams, two from Sheridan High and one from Arvada-Clearmont, will be attending the state qualifier on Monday, December 7 in Casper. The Wyoming “We the People” State Championship will be held February 1 in Laramie, with the National Finals set for April 22 through the 25 at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
