Wardens ID Poaching Suspects

Wildlife officials say they have identified four people suspected of poaching four moose near Hudson earlier this month.

The Riverton Ranger reports a Wyoming Game and Fish warden found the carcasses of two male and two female moose near each other along the Popo Agie River just northeast of Hudson on Oct. 15.

Lander area game warden Brad Hovinga says the poachers did not try to salvage any of the meat.

Investigators with Game and Fish worked with the FBI and the Shoshone and Arapaho Tribal Fish and Game department to gather evidence and identify the suspects, whose names are expected to be released when charges are filed.
