Vols Still Needed For Public Health Drill Next Month

Johnson County Public Health will be conducting a drill for a possible “biological event” with the help of County Emergency Management and other agencies. The drill is scheduled for Monday, May 14 and Tuesday, May 15 and volunteers are still needed.

Volunteers will help with staging medicines and a number of other duties during the drill.

Robin King, with Johnson County Public Health and the volunteer coordinator for the exercise, tells us more about what the volunteers will do.

Staging on Monday will happen at the Public Health office on Klondrike Drive and the actual drill will happen Tuesday at Clear Creek Elementary School.

Volunteers can commit from one hour up to 2 days, depending on their schedule.

King said volunteers can enjoy a small perk for their time as well.

To volunteer, or for more information, contact Janet Jones or Robin King at Public Health at 684-2564 or online at robin.king@wyo.gov
