Veterans and military personnel are invited to an upcoming meet and greet with the Wyoming State Legislature. Deidre Forster, State Public Affairs Officer with the Wyoming Military Department, explains.

Forster says it's also an opportunity for legislators to thank those who have served, or are currently serving, for their dedication.

Civilian employers of National Guard and Reserve personnel will also be recognized at the front of the Wyoming State Legislature building by Wyoming's adjutant general, Maj. Gen. Luke Reiner, at 10 a.m.

Additionally the Wyoming Veterans Commission will be holding its quarterly meeting at the Wyoming Veterans Commission conference room at 5800 Central Ave. in Cheyenne.

Again, Military and Veterans Day will be taking place between 8:30 and 9:45 a.m. Veterans and active duty military are invited to attend.
