VA Women Veterans Program

The VA is a resource for all of the nation’s veterans and to stay true to that ideal, the Sheridan VA Health Care System is reminding Women Veterans that there are programs specifically to meet their needs. Meagan Kekich, Women Veterans Program Manager of the Sheridan VA, said that part of her job is to do just that.

According to Kekich, the VA served 160,000 woman Veterans nationally in 2000 and in 2015 that number has more than doubled to 439,791. She said that the Sheridan VA can help women in reproductive health, infertility services, newborn health, advanced prosthetic devices, sensory aids, and other associated services.
