The University of Wyoming unveiled the draft for their 5-year strategic plan which calls for advancements in academic quality, enrollment, statewide engagement, diversity, and economic development. The draft plan was presented in several public meetings last month to garner public feedback. Before the plan was drafted, several meetings across the state were held to make sure the state had input in what the plan would entail. Chad Baldwin, Director of Institutional Communications at UW said that the draft was created by UW’s 24 member Strategic Planning Leadership Council and that they will be involved in the next set of revisions.

Following the approval of the Board of trustees, the plan will be implemented at the start of the 2017-2018 fiscal year on July 1st, with college and unit plans finalized in the fall of this year.
