A researcher at the University of Wyoming has found that the daily and nightly differences in temperatures worldwide are fast approaching yearly differences between summer and winter temperatures. Zoology Professor Michael Dillon says there will be worldwide consequences if more of the world’s climate becomes like that in tropical zones.

Dillon is the senior writer of a paper on this subject published this week in Nature Climate Change, a journal devoted to significant research on the science of climate change.
