UW Professor Makes List of Highly Cited Researchers for 4th Consecutive Year

A University of Wyoming’s Professor has been listed as one of the world’s most highly cited researchers in the field of geosciences for the 4 consecutive year. Chad Baldwin, the University’s Associate Vice President for Communications and Marketing, said that Professor Xiaohong Liu(zi-hong-lou) made the list released by Clarivade(clair-i-vad) Analytics.

Baldwin said that only articles and reviews in science and social science journals indexed in the Web of Science were considered for the list of highly cited researchers. Professor Liu has received numerous other awards and honors including the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory’s Exceptional Contribution Program Award and the World Meteorological Society’s Young Scientists Award.
