UW President Talks Research Station With College District Officials

During the Presidents report of the Northern Wyoming Community College District monthly meeting Wednesday, Dr. Paul Young spoke about UW President Tom Buchanan's visit to Sheridan Wednesday. Young says that Buchanan updated College District officials on the status of the University's Agricultural Research Station.

Young said that the University received $350,000 from the legislature this past session for planning, which will allow UW to nail down the best location for the new Ag Research Station.

In a related matter, the Wyoming Community College Commission will be meeting at Sheridan College Friday to set their biennial budget and to consider various requests from the state's community college's.

The College Commission will meet Friday at 9 am at the Watt Agricultural Center at Sheridan College. The meeting is open to the public except for the executive session that is part of the agenda.
