UW Initiates Program to Get Promising Minds into Teaching

One could think that smart teachers would give students the best chance of success. It seems like UW agrees with that sentiment as they are aiming to create a new pipeline of future educators by connecting with promising high schoolers across the state. UW’s Director of Institutional Communications Chad Baldwin talks more about their Innovative Teacher Training Program.

Baldwin explained the ultimate goal of the program is from a students first exposure as high school sophomores through the last days of the mentorship and induction program, graduates of the fellowship will have been fully immersed in the profession for 11 years.
