The University of Wyoming and the state’s seven community colleges are entering transfer agreements, assuring that students are taking courses that will meet the requirements for bachelor’s degrees. Mercedes Aguirre Batty, Dean of Arts, Humanities and Social Science at the Northern Wyoming Community College District in Sheridan and Gillette, explains the benefits of the transfer articulation agreement with the University of Wyoming.

The goal is to sign articulation agreements with each of the colleges for the 17 UW degree programs that are most popular with community college transfer students. More than 50 of the program-level agreements have been signed so far.
