Truck Ramps West Of Buffalo To Be Studied Says Engineer

At the Buffalo City Council meeting last week, City/County Engineer Wayne Hill reported that the stste-of-the-art runaway truck ramp west of Buffalo will be studied as will the possibilty of the installation of a second ramp further down the hill closer to Buffalo.

Hill said WYDOT will be studying the visual aspects of the runaway truck ramp to see if there is any way they can improve it so drivers aren't confused about what it is and if it is operational.

Hill explained more about their plan for the ramps.

Hill also reported that WYDOT will be conducting a “warrant study” for a left-turn lane and light at the intersection of Main and Fort Streets.
If the warrant study determines that the intersection warrants a light, WYDOT will allow it, otherwise secondary factors will be studied to see if the light truly is needed.
