Trout Unlimited Hosts Fundraiser

The Little Big Horn Chapter #615 of Trout Unlimited hosted its annual fundraiser at the Sheridan Inn on Saturday, January 7, 2017. This event is the local organization’s largest fundraiser and this year the group had to say goodbye to outgoing president Roger Miller, who was sworn in as Sheridan’s mayor on January 2.

In need of a replacement, the organization elected local attorney Nick Haderlie to be president. New board members include SWCA Environmental Consultants project manager Jake Powell, and Brenna Burgos, founder of a local company aimed at supporting women recreationalists called Rods, Reels, and Heels.

In addition, Dave Sweet from the Wyoming TU Council spoke of the ongoing Save the Yellowstone Cutthroat project and the Fly Shop of the Bighorns and other donors offered items for a silent auction and raffle.
