A three day trial is scheduled this week in the Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan County. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the details.

Sheridan resident Miranda Mraz will stand trial for Felony Larceny for her role in allegedly stealing money from the Eagles Club at 5th and Main in Sheridan. Mraz, a former employee of the Eagles was involved in an unusual incident on April 21st of last year, where she called the police to report a robbery attempt had occurred at the club. Further investigation by authorities revealed that there was no robbery attempt, and that Mraz had allegedly made the false report to cover up her own crime.

Mraz is scheduled for trial this week in District Court Wednesday through Friday. If she's found guilty of Felony Larceny, she could face up to 10 years in prison, a fine of up to $10,000, or any combination of both.
