Travel! Trail Blazing! Taking Risks! and S’More! G.I.R.L. Scouts!

You won’t believe what today’s G.I.R.L. Scouts do! Girl Scouts in the Park is the place to find out, says Izzy Dickinson, senior girl scout with Troop 1333.

Izzy, a senior at Sheridan High School, has been a girl scout since Kindergarten. Her mom, Lori Dickinson, leads Izzy’s Troop 1333. Lori is excited, too, about all the FREE fun planned for Sheridan County girls, grades K-12, this Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Kendrick Park “by the zoo”.

Izzy says her first trip with her troop was a real trail blazer!

Izzy and Lori hope this event draws many adult ladies age 18 and older, also! “They should come find out what today’s leaders do with Girl Scouts,” Lori says:

Today’s leaders love the outdoors and indoors; they’re laid-back or out there! They may chaperone trips and events, they might help with ‘summer-only’ activities; or they may make time weekly or bi-monthly for a special group of G.I.R.L. Scouts. Izzy and Lori will see you Thursday to share the ‘secret’ of G.I.R.L. . . . and more!
