The Sheridan County Sportsmen’s Association recently presented the Sheridan Memorial Hospital Foundation with $4,200 raised during their Bob Prill Memorial Trap Shoot held in June. According to a news release from Sheridan Memorial Hospital, all of those funds will go towards patient care at the Welch Cancer Center.

The annual cancer shoot has been a success since 2015. This year the shoot was named in honor of Bob Prill, a significant leader with the Sportsmen’s Association. Prill passed away in April of 2018. One of the Event Organizers and Trap Director at the Association Tracy Landeis(land-iss), shared that the shoot is a way to give back to cancer care because the disease “really has touched us all.”
