The Tour de Big Horn was Saturday

Posted in

It couldn't have been a prettier morning as 50-plus bicyclists took to the road Saturday, all as a fundraiser for the Sheridan Community Land Trust.

The family-friendly event began in Big Horn and included three different levels of group rides: The Cruiser, The Road Bike Ride and The Mountain Bike Ride which was a 25 mile ride for those hard core bike enthusiasts.

Meg Pruett is a relative newcomer to the sport of biking and loves the benefits.

Claire Hobbes helped organize the event and explains what the money raised will be used for.

The Sheridan Community Land Trust helps protect open space, wildlife habitat and agricultural landscapes in Sheridan County and has protected over 3000 acres and added four miles of recreational trails.
