Shoppers at Thursday's Farmer's Market

The market in Sheridan remains steady, that is, the Farmer's Market. Held each Thursday at the Whitney Commons across from the library, all sorts of goodies can be found from jewelry to artwork, purses, and baked goods. And let's not forget the vegetables.

Rachel Hofer travels 50 miles from the 40 Mile Colony, a Hutterite group of six to seven families living together near Lodge Grass. She's pretty proud of her produce.

The Farmer's Market is just a fun place to go, kids playing in the fountain, music in the background, and all sorts of products for sale.

Suzanne Wilson from Rochester, Minnesota, was there with her family and coming from the Midwest, is it any surprise that the only thing she bought was corn. For her the market is a fun place to sit back and watch.

Even the folks from the hospital brought produce in from their own community garden found behind the Medical Arts Complex. Lajune Bacon says it's a healthy undertaking for everyone at the hospital.

The Farmer's Market is open every Thursday from 5-7 p.m. until September 15th.
