Three Winning Lottery Tickets Purchased in Local Area

Twenty-five players have won $1,000 each in the most recent WyoLotto drawing held Thursday, including three from the local area, setting a record for the number of large winners per drawing in the history of the state's lottery.

The announcement comes from the WyoLotto office. The winning tickets, locally, according to the release, were sold at the Kum & Go on Main Street in Buffalo, and at two locations in Gillette – the Maverik on Highway 14-16 and Gasstop Two on Highway 59. The winning numbers were – 3, 7, 15, 19 and 35.

Tickets for the Cowboy Draw game are sold only in Wyoming, accoring to the lottery office, which gives the WyoLotto players a higher chance of winning a prize. Two lucky players have hit the jackpot since the game's launch on March 15, and 108 players have won $1,000 each. The total winnings for just the Cowboy Draw game, according to the lottery office, have reached an estimated $1.4 million.

With the addition of the new game, WyoLotto players now have more chances to win a jackpot. According to the lottery office, the Mega Millions jackpot is now at an estimated $85 million, Powerball now at $60 million and Cowboy Draw at $260,000. Overall, so far, nearly 356,000 WyoLotto players have won a total of nearly $3 million since the launch of the lottery in August of last year.
