Three Republicans Look Into 2010 Wyoming Governor Race

CASPER, (AP) - Three Republicans are looking into running for governor in 2010. Former Wyoming U.S. Attorney Matt Mead of Cheyenne, former state Representative Ron Micheli of Fort Bridger and state House Speaker Colin Simpson of Cody have all formed exploratory committees.

No Democrats have formed exploratory committees. Democratic Governor Dave Freudenthal has not indicated whether he will seek a third term. If Freudenthal were to seek a third term, he would have to challenge to the state term limits law. The primary election is August 17th.
