Thieves Take More Than $1,000 From Local Video Store

Saturday morning Sheridan Police were called to the Video Depot on Coffeen Avenue after they reported a burglary. Police Detective Sergeant Tom Henry says an unknown number of suspects forced their way through the back entrance to the store. A safe containing more than $1,000 cash plus numerous videos and video games were taken.

The burglars broke in sometime between closing time Friday night and Saturday morning. Police are examining video surveillance footage and the incident is still under investigation.
