Many a walker showed up for the Wyoming Disability Awareness Walk this past weekend in Sheridan.

The 7th annual Disability Awareness Walk took place in various towns throughout Wyoming over the weekend. While it may have been the 7th annual, it was the first time that Sheridan participated in the walk. RENEW President Larry Samson says the walk was more than just raising awareness.

Both gymnasiums at Sheridan Junior High School were well utilized by the many walkers that showed up for the event. The walk was just one of many activities and events held by RENEW over the last month, as March is Disability Awareness Month.
