Rugged, rocky terrain is hampering efforts to contain the Wolf Creek fire, located on the Tongue Ranger District of the Bighorn National Forest about 12 miles west of Sheridan. Public Affairs Specialist with the National Forest Susie Douglas says that the fire remains at a little over an acre in size.

Douglas said the Wolf Creek Fire was started by lightning on Monday.
