Supplemental Consensus Fund Meeting

Supplemental Consensus Fund Meeting

Allocation of $1.8 million in supplemental consensus funding that was approved during this past legislative session was the topic of a meeting this week between officials from the City of Sheridan, Sheridan County, Ranchester, Dayton and Clearmont.

City Council President John Bigelow explains what the various entities agreed upon.

Bigelow says that the information that will be submitted to the state will have to be very detailed and descriptive.

The breakdown of the $1.8 million in supplemental consensus funding is as follows; the City of Sheridan will receive 59%, or a little over $1 million; the County will receive 33%, or $609,678.15; both Dayton and Ranchester will receive 3%, or $54,451.76; and Clearmont will get 1%, or $18,150.59.
