Changes are in store for the PAWS test.
Changes are in store for the PAWS test.

Last Friday we heard from Wyoming Superintendent of Public Instruction Jim McBride on the recalibration of the State funding model, and that for the most part, things will remain unchanged. Today, McBride talks about the PAWS testing that has been so heavily scrutinized since its inception.

McBride says that the PAWS test will continue for at least the next couple of years; however, there will be some changes that can be expected.

McBride said that regarding federal dollars, he tries to evaluate every single dollar that comes in, and that if the funding erodes local control or state rights, it isn't accepted.
